IKEA Hack – White Table Top with Gold Legs
Thanks to Pinterest, my new favorite love, I came across two amazing IKEA hacks this week that I’m going to do myself very shortly (hopefully next weekend). It’s simple, buy a white table top and the legs separately. Then purchase gold spray paint, apply paint, let dry, put together and voila, a gorgeous table or desk.
Table 1
It’s amazing what a little paint and a dash of imagination can do! Shannon from Burlap & Lace purchased a white table top and the Trestle table legs. Sprayed the legs with gold paint and voila, an amazing desk! Here is the final product, isn’t it amazing. Check out all her before and after images, I’m so impressed with this project. She also did a nice job at styling her desk.
Table 2
Now this is where my create juices went wild. Over at the Just Bella blog, the lovely Christine did a similar project with the vika moliden and rustoleum metallic gloss gold and magic. I personally want to create this desk but instead of a desk, I want to make it as my dining room table and move the legs both inwards so four chairs can fit all around.
And the best part, this project is very affordable. Hopefully this has inspired you to add a gold and white table to your home too.

Are the legs on the 2nd table ikea too? And was that a desk set or separate pieces?
