Rue Magazine – Issue Three Out Now!
What a lovely way to start my evening, I opened my email to a notice letting me know the latest issue of Rue is now available for review… how sweet it is. And the cover, can you say intriguing… there are some genius stylists and photographers on there staff I must say… and it only gets better from here.
I’m starting to really notice more use of color these days, as I too am somewhat scared of using color, I enjoy seeing it well styled in art, pillows and accessories, it’s a great inspiration for me to start incorporating more color.
Sprinkled throughout the magazine are links to pretty stationary downloads… Ah, a good read and treats too.

Now this was my favorite part, Nicole Cohen’s home is pretty much what I’d like to aim for more or less. The color of black, white, grey and hits of color is exactly my goal. Mind you I live in a rental with carpet {I know I know, I personally can’t stand it and dream of hard wood floors}, this is helping find a balance. I have mostly all dark wood/black furniture and I’m currently trying to lighten things up with art and accessories. It sure does take time though, finding all the right pieces etc. Anyways I digress, I am completely envious of her home, you’ve done a beautiful job Nicole! I’ll be printing these pages and keeping them for inspiration. I’m literally drooling (well not literally) over the black trellis wallpaper in the bedroom, modern glamour at it’s finest.
