The Great Gatsby Inspiration and Movie Trailers
Hello everyone, hope you are having an amazing day. Is anyone just as excited as I am for the new The Great Gatsby movie to premiere on May 10th? I sincerely cannot wait till I see this movie. The trailer looks simply enticing with the beautiful set design, costumes, music and a wonderful cast… a recipe for an epic movie. The movie is the adaptation of a 1925 novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton and Isla Fisher located in the time of the roaring 1920’s and the age of Art Deco… which has had a nice revival… I’m loving all the gold, brass, the glitter sprinkled in the era of art deco.
Check out this trailer, it’s certainly a visual masterpiece. There are many more trailers here if you wish to peruse and get lost in the movie magic of it all (I did).
I’ve put together a comprehensive list of Art Deco inspired home decor pieces. All with all the likes of gold, brass, silver and the feel of art deco.
