I’ve had the pleasure of working with designer Ellie Bradley via my blog and admiring her work on her website Xavier & Me. I initially found her looking for watercolor pillows and stumbled upon her lovely range of rugs. That’s one of the best things about my blog, not only do I get to share my passion for decor and design, but to connect with like-minded people, how delightful. CREATING YOUR OWN DESIGNER RUG
If you’re working with a limited budget, shelling out lots of money for a rug that might get ruined or wear thin over time is a scary prospect. But if you’re like me you want your interior to reflect you and you don’t want pieces that you can find in major retailers or the majority of home in your street, then visit Xavier&Me. Ellie has brought her love of geometric patterns and vibrant colour to a range of seriously stunning rugs that are destined to be in your home. They are surprising affordable so they won’t leave you trembling in fear of a red wine stain.
Xavier&Me rugs are made to order, enabling Ellie to offer her clients a custom design service allowing her clients to design the perfect modern rug for their home. Choose from one of Ellie’s designs, or she can design one with you, alter the colours and sizes. Each rug is hand tufted or hand-knotted by master rug weavers in India. Your designs or ideas transformed from paper or screen masterfully woven into pure wool, silk, viscose, or any combination.
Xavier&Me custom design service caters for everything – from custom sized plain rugs right up to the most complex designs which employ added textural effects such as loop cutting and hand carving.
